The Oportunitas Foundation was created in February of 2016 and is registered with the Spanish Registry of Foundations. It is governed by a board of trustees and has a Director who manages all non-financial services: the volunteer program, trainings, and the social impact assessment. The primary role of the Foundation is to support its entrepreneurs in their professional development. To achieve this objective, it has the support of institutions, private companies, NGOs, and volunteers.

Training
Each entrepreneur accepted into the program should have a minimum set of administrative and management skills to run their business. The Foundation will use its training tools to help support them in these areas.
Mentoring
Volunteers act as mentors for entrepreneurs. Our users can count on our volunteers to give them the support and confidence necessary to persist and to succeed.
Social Impact Assessment
The Foundation seeks to measure both the short- and long-term social impact of its work with its entrepreneurs, using economic-labor, emotional, and social measures.
